“Comin’ Back to Me: The Music and Spirit of ’69” -A Tribute to Marty Balin Opens @ Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art

Experience 1969 fifty years later through the eyes of Marty Balin, founder, lead vocalist, and hit song writer for the 1960s rock band Jefferson Airplane. Balin’s paintings of rock legends, personal archives and psychedelic concert posters will be on view. The exhibition also explores 1969 as a pinnacle year for music festivals, such as Woodstock and Altamont, the Beatles, space exploration, civil rights and world events.
