Japanese Performance Art Event

Celebrate Japanese culture with live performance art demonstrations by international contemporary Japanese artists Keisuke Teshima and Tokuma Takebe.  Mr. Teshima is a Master of the One Stroke Dragon painting technique. One of only four artists in the world who has mastered this technique, his powerful performance art results in an intricately painted dragon using a single brush stroke. Infused with Japanese tradition, Mr. Takebe will demonstrate his contemporary woodworking skills and how he creates his glowing wood light sculptures.



Vans will depart from the following campuses to the event at the times below:

Arrival at the Tarpon Spring Campus will approximately be 12:00 p.m.

Students should arrive at the departure locations specified above 15 minutes prior to departure times listed.

Interested students must sign up for a ride in advance at the link below prior to Wed., January 25 at 5:00 p.m., as there is limiting seating in the vans.
