We’re proud to serve the community we call home, and giving back is a natural extension of our mission. Here are just a few of the ways we reach out to the Tampa Bay community:
On a special day, the community is invited to visit the museum free of charge and enjoy refreshments, entertainment, guided tours and activities for all ages.
Free Tours and Art Activities
Every year, LRMA provides tours and hands-on arts activities for more than 3,700 low-income, underserved elementary school students to help fill the gap created by arts budget cuts.
Great American Teach-In
Many of our staff members and docents volunteer in the local schools for the Great American Teach-In, when they share their knowledge and dedication to their respective careers with younger students in grades K-12.
The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art is privileged to have a knowledgeable staff and a highly trained docent corps. Upon request, individuals are pleased to speak at local community events.
Student Expressions Wall
SPC students and K-12 students at local schools may share their artwork with museum guests on our Student Expressions wall, a dedicated space in the Interactive Gallery designed specifically for student exhibitions.
